House Coal Cobbles, Doubles & Ovoids
We stock the best quality available in large and small nuts. Suitable for open fires and multifuel stoves.
Being a natural bituminous open-grate fuel it is quick to light, gives a high heat and burns with a long flame with low ash content. Not suitable for burning in smoke control areas.
A manufactured Briquette for open fire and stove use is also stocked.
Anthracite Nuts, Beans,Grains & Briquettes
A long lasting naturally smokeless fuel, our Welsh Anthracite is very clean burning, high heat, low ash and slow burning with blue flame. Approved for use in smoke control areas and is suitable for most closed stoves, cookers etc. We also stock a manufactured Briquette which is approved for use in smoke control areas.

Welsh Dry
Steam Coal
Produced at Ffos-y-Fran near Merthyr, classified as naturally smokeless, of high heat and more free burning that anthracite. Keenly priced and suitable for most stoves, boilers and cookers. Excellent for steam engine use.
