Services
We source only the best qualities of coal and anthracites that are available.
At Chepstow we offer a complete range of pre-packed fuels, packed on site for cash and carry and delivery, with fuels suitable for open fires, stoves, cookers and steam engines.
We deliver locally by our own dedicated transport and can always arrange delivery to all places further afield. In fact, we have sent fuels to Norway, Holland, France and Tenerife.
Our Team
We have been running as a family firm since 1910 when Frank Burston arrived in Newport circa 1900 from Devon, he was employed as ganger by the local council on road works. He started the family coal business in 1910 which was continued by his son Thomas Burston, grandfather to Paul and Jamie. Tom during his lifetime carried over 100,000 tons of coal, more than the weight of the liner RMS Queen Elizabeth.
